Steve Peterson

Mr. Steve Peterson currently directs the NDCPD’s Remote Realtime Online Captioning service, the Connections program and the Mythbusters program.  He also serves as Telehealth Coordinator for the Great Plains Autism Spectrum Disorders Treatment (GPAST) and TeleAudiology programs.  Previous notable NDCPD activities include: Health Systems Policy Analyst for the Medicaid Infrastructure Grant, Technical Coordinator for the Internet-based Business Support System and Technical Coordinator for the Rural Disability Services grant (Speech-Language Teletherapy, TeleAudiology).

Peterson holds a BS Degree in Medical Technology along with certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and licensure by the North Dakota Board of Clinical Laboratory Practice.  He has 30 years experience in business management and technical consultation in the healthcare field.  He was instrumental in the research and development of NDCPD’s Speech/Language Teletherapy program and development of the Flatlands Disability Network.
