The National Center on Deaf-Blindness has a section specifically for parents called Family Engagement. The National Family Association for Deaf-Blind website is dedicated to serving and supporting families who have children who are deaf-blind. There are parent training resources, national conferences, archived podcasts, peer-to-peer connections, and family leadership information.  https://nfadb.org/

 

 

The national CHARGE Syndrome Foundation has information specifically about children who are deaf-blind due to CHARGE. The For Families section describes information on conferences and trainings, family support groups, and grief support. https://www.chargesyndrome.org/

 

 

Family Voices of North Dakota (FVND) is a statewide organization focused on supporting families of children with special health care and/or disabilities. FVND connects families to education, training, leadership opportunities and to other families.  http://fvnd.org/site/

 

 

The North Dakota School for the Deaf – Resource Center for Deaf and Hard of Hearing can provide educational opportunities, information, resources and outreach by trained experts in deafness/hard of hearing. Be sure to visit their Resources/Links section! https://www.nd.gov/ndsd/

North Dakota Hands and Voices is a parent-driven organization focused on providing information and support to families of children with hearing loss regardless of communication mode.
