Training for Drivers of People With Disabilities

Driver training is important for those who serve people with disabilities. Drivers must be able to assist passengers with special needs. To do this a driver must understand the capabilities and needs of special passengers.

Who Offers the Training?

CPR and First Aid training generally are available from your local chapter of the American Red Cross. Also, many city and town fire departments/rescue squads offer such training to people in their communities.
