2016 Enrollment News Story
Every year there is an open enrollment period when you can sign up for health insurance or change your current plan. For 2017 coverage this will be November 1, 2016 to January 31, 2017. If you miss this time period you will need to wait until the next open enrollment period unless you have a special event that qualifies you to make changes. You must make changes or enroll by December 15 for coverage to begin January 1, 2017

Special Enrollment Period
You may be eligible to enroll or make changes to your current plan if you had a baby, aged off your parents plan, got married, or lost coverage. You have 60 days from the date of the special event to make changes or enroll, if you miss this enrollment window you will have to wait until the next open enrollment period.
