Call all participants to remind them of the time, place and plans a few days before the event
Call all mentors – let them know if they will be needed, discuss what they will be doing
Shop for, prepare and cook a meal
Arrange for transportation as needed
Recruit speakers, obtain materials

Involve students, mentors and families in events
Make certain the building is unlocked and locked
Greet, welcome and thank any speakers
