New Americans/Refugee Families

Many refugee families have settled in North Dakota and are new Americans. Often families experience trauma prior to arrival and many have children with disabilities. Services are available through the North Dakota Department of Human Services and Lutheran Social Services, as well as area churches, and sometimes through employers.
