Treatments for Disabilities and Conditions

Are you wondering what is available in North Dakota as treatment for a specific condition or disabilities?

Children’s Special Health Services (CSHS) offers a number of specialized clinics and treatment programs for families. These clinics are offered in partnership with public and private health care providers across the state and include/are not limited to:

  • Cleft lip & palate clinics
  • Scoliosis/orthopedic clinics
  • Cardiac Care For Children program
  • Developmental Assessment Clinics
  • Metabolic Disorders Clinics
  • Myelodysplasia Clinics and Programs
  • Cerebral Palsy Outpatient Program and Clinics
  • Diabetes Youth Outreach Program
  • Care Coordination Program
  • Therapy Services
CSHS publishes an annual schedule of clinic locations and times. The schedule also includes other clinics offered by health care providers that may benefit families, such as the Down Syndrome Clinic, which is available in Fargo.

NOTE: Clinic dates change on occasion due to scheduling conflicts. The annual schedule is disseminated each summer, usually in August of each year.
