Managed Care System

Information:

Families whose members are employed may be able to access a number of managed care providers that operate in North Dakota. The regulatory agency in North Dakota, that provides oversight to the managed care industry, is the Department of Insurance. Families with no/low income may qualify for medical assistance which is accessed through a system of county social services. Families who do not qualify for medical assistance can obtain free health care coverage through the ND Healthy Steps program. To get information, you may need to contact:
