Efthalia (Thalia) Esser

Ms. Efthalia Esser is a research associate for NDCPD. Her projects include research for the State of the State on Abuse and Neglect of Individuals with Developmental Disabilities and work on proposals for Autism research and Utilizing Health Information Technology (IT) to improve Health Care Quality. Thalia received her master of science in Early Childhood Education/Special Education from Minot State University.

 

She holds a bachelor of arts in Journalism from the Center of Studies for Journalism Publicity in Athens, Greece and in Psychology from Minot State University. Thalia has twelve years of experience in education and has served as Chief Academic Officer of Cankdeska Cikana Community College as well as principle investigator a number of grants funded by the National Institutes of Health, Department of Education, American Indian Higher Education Consortium.
